How to delete your Sport Loop account

You can delete the Sport Loop account you sign in with from the Sport Loop mobile app, or you can email us and ask us to delete it. The Sport Loop website does not have a delete button.

Deleting the account removes that signed-in account. It also removes child profiles that account manages. To remove one child profile and keep the parent account, use household settings in the app instead.

Delete in the mobile app

1. Open the Sport Loop app on your phone and sign in.
2. Open the side menu.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Type DELETE and confirm.

Delete Account appears after you finish email verification, enter your date of birth, and complete onboarding. If you cannot reach that screen, use the email request below.

Request deletion by email

Email contact@sport-loop.com from the email address on the account. Ask us to delete your Sport Loop account.

Sending the email does not delete the account by itself. We process the request and then delete the account the same way the app does.

What we remove

When the account is deleted, we immediately:

• Clear the name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and bio
• Turn off sign-in, so the account cannot be used again
• Hide the profile
• Apply the same removal to child profiles that account manages
• Archive documents stored in the account vault

Other phones are not signed out at that moment. The next time one of those devices contacts Sport Loop, access is refused because the account is deleted.

What we keep

Some records stay so other members' history is not broken. On those records the name is replaced with "Deleted User".

• Club, team, and program membership
• Clubs the account created
• RSVPs
• Chat messages
• Games, comments, and other past activity

Photos and videos already uploaded may remain in storage even though the profile no longer shows the person's name. We do not run a later purge that erases these remaining records.

You will not be able to recover the account.
