We started Sport Loop after watching volunteer coaches manage teams from three different spreadsheets, parents miss game times because of buried group chat messages, and kids miss out on sports because the process of joining a club was too confusing.

Youth sports organizations are often run by passionate volunteers who are great at coaching and terrible at being forced to also be software administrators. The tools available were either built for professional sports teams (overkill and expensive) or were consumer apps that weren't built for managing organizations.
